1812 Farm Maine Wedding

Part two of Sowmya and Zach’s Maine wedding took us a few miles down the road to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse for ceremony number two of the day. The Kentucky couple had visited the area and the lighthouse only a few days after they got engaged. The trip with family was already planned, but Zach timed his proposal to coincide with their vacation. After seeing the area they fell in love with it and thought it might be the perfect place for their wedding.

So many people come to Maine and fall in love with area and choose to get married there. As a Mainer it makes me so happy to see other people learn about what I’ve known all my life, that Maine is a treasure of a place. It’s a place that becomes part of people’s story and woven into their lives.

It was such an honor to spend the day with this sweet couple and their families. Their coastal wedding was a picture perfect summer day.
