First and foremost, THANK YOU for making it here and learning a little bit about me. It really means a lot to me.
I'm a Maine gal who five years ago found herself living in the burbs of Houston, TX. (how did that happen?!) I can tell you the story when we meet; it's a really good one. I am a mother of two outstanding, hilarious girls, who also happen to have a bit of the artist bug just like their mom and dad. Both my husband and I are classically trained singers and we met singing in an elite chorus in college. Yup. Choir nerd alert. And....in case you're wondering, yes, I also sang in an a cappella group. Almost everything about those movies are real.
I am a feminist. I am a flawed human being. I am opinionated. I am a great listener. I believe in love in all forms. I believe that black lives matter. I am forever learning and evolving in this world. Because...isn't that the whole point of being human?
A few of my favorite things........
When it comes to photography, I began this journey in the darkroom of a black and white film photography class that I took as an exchange student in New Zealand my junior year of college. When I returned to the states, I became a photojournalist for my college newspaper. Telling the truth with my photos is second nature to me. You can't fake that stuff when you're printing the news, so what better person to have on your wedding day than a trained documentarian. Your story is unique and you deserve a talented observer who will capture your love and personality in stunning, vivid imagery.
I also take immense care of my clients. They become family and I am friends with many of them to this day. You can count on me to capture memories that you and your family will cherish for a lifetime.
“Taking pictures is like tiptoeing into the kitchen late at night and stealing Oreo cookies.”
You have a gift and an intuitive vision. Having you as our photographer felt as natural as having an old friend photograph our wedding.
Thank you for sharing in our love.
