Katy and David were the first ever couple to hold their wedding reception in the beautifully remodeled Tarratine Club in Downtown Bangor. They were married at the end of June and shared an intimate dinner with family on the patio of the club, while their guests enjoyed the three floors and rooftop deck of the venue, cocktails and passed appetizers. This historic venue, which used to be a private men’s club back in Bangor’s heyday, is now a beautiful site for parties and events. The original features of the building, going back to the 1800’s, made for interesting touches for Katy & David’s wedding. The original lockers where the men would hide their booze during prohibition made the perfect spots to put gifts for their guests. Instead of hiding liquor, the couple stashed away personalized bottles of Jones soda for the guests as a fun way to express their new last name (yes, their last name is Jones). Congratulations you two! It was a lovely event and I was delighted to be there with you and your families.
