Today’s wedding feature is part one of a two-part post. I had the honor of witnessing Hannah & Kunal’s very small, private, family wedding ceremony this July in Stonington where Hannah has been coming every Fourth of July week since she was a kid. They took me all over the town to their favorite areas for some wonderful portraits and then we headed back to the house for a beautiful, intimate ceremony with just their immediate family. Jewish and Indian blessings were exchanged by their families and a very simple family meal was shared around the living room. It was one of the most lovely and heartfelt weddings I have had the pleasure of being at. But don’t worry, their wedding wasn’t without a fabulous party. That event the couple had planned back in their home city of D.C. Family and friends were invited to an Indian reception at a funky art gallery in the heart of Dupont Circle this October. Those photos I’ll be sharing with you tomorrow. Enjoy!
All of the couple’s portraits were shot on Kodak medium format film.
