Jessica & Ben exchanged vows overlooking the sun drenched, sparkling Boothbay waters on the first day of summer this June. It was, by far, one of the most spectacular first days of summer in my recent memory. I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely day and two beyond lovely families to kick off my season with. These two individuals were surrounded by some of the most hospitable, caring family that I have had the pleasure of spending the day with and it was so evident to see the love these families share for their children reflected through the happy smiles of Jessica and Ben…who I don’t think stopped smiling all day.
Everything about this wedding was the perfect blend of the couples New York City, classic style with the simple, delicate touches of Maine. From the beautiful pink peonies that adorned the tables and the bouquets, the flowing gowns that blew in the quiet ocean breeze (holy cow, that gown!!) to the classic black tie tux that Ben told me was the very last to be sold from the Kleinfeld tuxedo division, these two stunning individuals expressed a style and grace that was equally matched by their love for each other. Jessica and Ben, it was an honor to be there to document this day with you and to get to know your wonderful families. Congratulations to you all!
