Hello everyone! It really has been quite a while since my last post, and for that I am truly sorry. It’s been quite a busy few months with lots of excitement, changes and big announcements….but I’ll save that for another post. You’ll just have to wait. Tease…I know.
So wedding season is upon us, but earlier this spring I had the pleasure of filling my time with some family sessions and other things…like this. This is Lisa’s maternity shoot. Lisa is a long time friend of mine and she is expecting her first baby next month, a little boy named Jude. What a great name! It’s always a pleasure when your friends ask you to do these types of shoots and it was an honor for me to be a part of it. I took Lisa and her husband Justin (who has been lifelong friends with my hubby Josh) to the ornamental gardens in Orono for a picnic that I made for them and I gave them just one direction: relax and be cute….ok, two directions. Neither of which are hard for these two at all, as you can see. I also asked them to bring along something special and they brought their favorite Shel Silverstein books, which they read to each other while enjoying their strawberries and cheese. The Giving Tree is actually the inspiration for Jude’s nursery and what I got to see of the progress I can tell you this room is going to be super adorable. I can’t wait to take this little man’s newborn photos next month, so stay tuned for some serious cuteness to come. And if my predictions are correct, I think we’ll be seeing some gorgeous baby blue eyes in our future…just like his mommy.
And I can’t forget Bailey!! Isn’t she just beautiful?! :-)
