Alexis & Justin are getting married in Maine next year over the July 4th holiday weekend. So it’s only fitting that their engagement session be posted now, leading up to this year’s holiday. The couple sported their finest patriotic duds for an early morning session at Justin’s grandparents house, situated on a beautiful, peaceful river in Hampden. Also with them was Justin’s son JJ, an amazing boy who is an integral part of their wedding, and it meant a lot to them to have him included in these photos. Feeling a little bad that I asked them to get up early on a Sunday on their last day home to visit family, I brought along a sweet treat for their ride back to Massacusetts: fresh picked strawberries from my garden. JJ’s little eyes lit up with delight and at one point I think he may have even contemplated not sharing! We had a great time and I am looking forward to their wedding next July!
