We are finally coming into a great stretch of weather in the south, where 90 degree days are put on hold for a few months until April when spring, will again, bring warm days and eventual unbearable summer heat. But until then it is fall in Texas and I will cherish these cooler mornings and comfortable evening walks with my family. I took the opportunity on one of those gorgeous, recent days to take my kids to the pond for their annual fall portraits. These little turkeys give me a lot to be thankful for in these turbulent times. I hope that all of you are taking the opportunity this season to take stock in what is most important in your life and to be thankful for it each and every day.
