McGovern Centennial Gardens Indian Elopement Ceremony

Planning a wedding during a pandemic has not been easy for so many people this year. Claire and Ashok were supposed to have a big, blended, two day Indian wedding event this October, but all those plans were put on hold when everyone started postponing their summer and fall weddings here in Houston. Instead of having another year go by when all the planning was essentially done anyway, they honored their original wedding date and had a tiny ceremony in the park.

With only their immediate family and an officiant, they were married in McGovern Centennial Gardens on the most gorgeous of October mornings. We will wait until October 2021 for their big wedding, but I was so happy to be a part of this special event. They took everything in stride, which is a true testament of their personalities, and now they have just another beautiful chapter to their story in what has been a tumultuous year.

I know that choosing wedding vendors can be...ummm..hard...exhausting...nerve wracking. But i'm hell bent on trying to make it at least a little fun.

Shall we have some fun?
