Bangor Greendrinks goes PINK!

Once a month, on a Tuesday, us Bangorians get together after work for what has become a world-wide event.  “Greendrinks” events, originating in England, have been popping up all over the country, and we have our own loyal group right here in Bangor, ME that just loves when the second Tuesday of the month rolls around.  Greendrinks celebrates businesses, non-profits and municipalities that support sustainable business practices and buying from our local communities and economies.

This month the event was hosted by Amber Small and Kathryn Ravenscraft of Sweetest Thing. Their design studio, located at 48 Columbia Street in the heart of Downtown Bangor was a beautiful backdrop for this green event to go pink!!  So in true Sweetest Thing fashion the food was pink, the drinks were pink, the plates were pink….even Paul Bunyan himself was pink!  If you were the first 70 drinkers in the door  you were lucky enough to walk away with the coveted pint glass (which most businesses make for every event) that donned the Sweetest Thing logo on one side and the Paul Bunyan Greendrinks logo on the other.  So cute!!

This may have been the most crowded Greendrinks event yet!  Way to go Amber and Kathryn for hosting such a fabulous party (as always).  You have set the bar very high for the next Greendrinks host business.
