On my summer vacation home to Maine this year I got together with my dear friend Brea of Brea McDonald Photography and her family for an evening of dinner on the beach. We gathered our clan of kids, our beach chairs, and a cooler of pasta salad and beer and enjoyed a gorgeous night on the beach on Drakes Island. During our beach dinner, while we caught up on life and our kids explored the crabs and creatures in the tide pools, we each did each others family portraits in what was one of the fastest and most fun family sessions we both have ever done. You can get amazing photos of a family with their squirmy two year old in only seven minutes! Case in point…my favorites are below.
