Favorite imagery from 2015

This post is a little later than I would have liked it to be, but oh well! C’est la vie! In the past I have shared my favorite wedding images since that is what I was focussing the most on. However, things are taking a bit of a directional turn and instead 2015 was filled…

Houston Texas birth story – Baby V

Last Friday this beautiful baby boy came into the world and it was such an honor to be there to capture the anticipation from his family. When I arrived at the hospital, mom was already 8cm dilated! And she had only been there for about thirty minutes! So we thought this was going to be a super…

Anne, this is a wonderfully written birth story and the pictures were amazing! Loved every bit of it! You really captured the essence of a strong powerful woman trusting her body to do what it was made to do!ReplyCancel

Absolutely beautiful, Anne! I so want to have this baby in the water, but while I can labor in the tub, I don’t think Waldo County General permits water births. I nearly had Max in the tub, though. Natural is SO the way to go, and it truly is a different experience. I want that lavender back rub and post-baby tea bath soak!!! Congratulations on the new addition, and thank you for sharing your story <3ReplyCancel

Hi Anne, I finally grabbed a coffee and sat down to hear the story of Vada. What a beautiful story. I’m in so much awe of any woman that has given birth (still no urge to do myself). It’s truly a miracle. I’m so happy for you and your family <3ReplyCancel

Texas birth story

I recently had the honor of photographing my first birth story since moving to Houston, Texas. This beautiful baby boy entered the world at the end of January after an extremely long couple days of labor and few changes of plan along the way. Babies do not always come the way we plan, but he…
